Below are a few of the most frequently asked questions by students who are looking for off-campus housing near the university.

 

When is the best time to look for housing in near campus?

Our housing contracts become available in June of each year. If you are going to need off-campus housing, the best time to look is anywhere from 9 to 12 months before the start of the upcoming school year

 

How long is a lease?

Our lease agreements generally last from the weekend before classes start to the Monday after graduation. 

 

Will there be an on-site washer and dryer in my housing unit?

Off-campus housing can come in many different shapes and sizes. For this reason, the amenities differ from building to building. Some have a private washer and dryer in the unit, while others share a common laundry in the building.

 

Can I choose my own roommates?

Absolutely!!  If you are looking for a place to live in with specific friends, let us know and we can try to find exactly what you need. If you don’t have any specific roommates in mind, we can assist to find roommates.

 

What utilities will be included in my rent?

This is something that differs depending on the property. Check with the landlord or property manager for specifics of what will be covered under your rent.

 

What will be required if I sign a lease?

If you are interested in leasing one of our off-campus housing options, you will need to provide have a valid state, national or international I, and security deposit when signing your lease.
